bismillah

إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ

Inna lanansuru rusulana wa(a)llatheena amanoo fee alhayati a(l)ddunya wayawma yaqoomu alashhad(u)

Verily! We-SWT shall surely succour Our-SWT Messengers-AS and those who believe, both in the life of this world and on a Day whereon the witnesses will stand forth.

(40:51)

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ الظَّالِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ

Yawma la yanfaAAu a(l)ththalimeena maAAthiratuhum walahumu allaAAnatu walahum sooo a(l)ddar(i)

A Day whereon their excuse will not profit the ungodly. Theirs will be curse and theirs will be the evil Abode.

(40:52)

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْهُدَى وَأَوْرَثْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ

Walaqad atayna moosa alhuda waawrathna banee israeela alkitab(a)

And assuredly We-SWT vouchsafed to Musa-AS the guidance and We-SWT caused the Children of Israil  to inherit the Book.

(40:53)

هُدًى وَذِكْرَى لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ

Hudan wathikra liolee alalbab(i)

A guidance and an admonition to men of understanding.

(40:54)

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ

Fa(i)sbir inna waAAda Allahi haqqun wa(i)staghfir lithanbika wasabbih bihamdi rabbika bi(a)lAAashiyyi wa(a)libkar(i)

So be steadfast. The Promise of Allaah-SWT is true; and ask forgiveness for your fault; and hallow the praise of your Rabb-SWT at evening and dawn.

(40:55)

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

Inna allatheena yujadiloona fee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahum in fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehi fa(i)staAAith bi(A)llahi innahu huwa a(l)ssameeAAu albaseer(u)

Verily those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allaah-SWT without an authority having come to them- nothing is there in their breasts save ambitions, which they shall not achieve. Seek refuge you then in Allah-SWT; verily He-SWT ! He-SWT is the Hearer, the Beholder.

(40:56)

لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Lakhalqu a(l)ssamawati wa(a)lardi akbaru min khalqi a(l)nnasi walakinna akthara a(l)nnasi la yaAAlamoon(a)

The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind; Yet most of mankind know not.

(40:57)

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَلَا الْمُسِيءُ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Wama yastawee alaAAma wa(a)lbaseeru wa(a)llatheena amanoo waAAamiloo a(l)ssalihati wala almuseeo qaleelan ma tatathakkaroon(a)

Not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor those who believe and work righteous deeds and the wicked. Little are you admonished.

(40:58)

إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Inna a(l)ssaAAata laatiyatun la rayba feeha walakinna akthara a(l)nnasi la yuminoon(a)

Verily the Hour is coming; there is no doubt thereof, yet most of mankind believe not.

(40:59)

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

Waqala rabbukumu odAAoonee astajib lakum inna allatheena yastakbiroona AAan AAibadatee sayadkhuloona jahannama dakhireen(a)

And your Rabb-SWT has said: Call upon Me-SWT , and I-SWT shall answer you. Verily those who are stiff necked against My-SWT worship, now they will enter Hell abject.

SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Faith and Obedience, Key to Temporal Success

The chronicles of the bygone nations also testify that Allah-SWT extends His-SWT succour to His-SWT Messengers-AS and those who believe in them in this temporal world, while eternal success is entirely theirs. They will be honoured and shall enjoy all the comforts. These infidels will forget all arrogance and pride on the eve of accountability, and shall resort to useless pleading. They will be accursed and pushed into the Hell. Allah-SWT guided Prophet Musa-AS and gave him a Book.  He was vehemently opposed by a mighty infidel nation, but they could do him no harm, nor could they contain the Book. Rather, they were themselves destroyed while the Book and the Truth survived for generations in the Bani Israil, indeed a great admonition for the people of understanding.

 

Sway of Din and the Prophecy of its Survival after the Companions-RAU

In a way this example is a prophecy that like the Pharaoh's folk these infidels will also fail and Islam will survive as a legacy after the Companions-RAU. The Holy Prophet-SW is advised to be patient over their momentary success and not to worry about the hindrances they create in his-SW path. Assuredly, Allah-SWT ’s Promise is true, that he-SW and his followers will ultimately prevail. He-SAAW must, however, seek Allah-SWT ’s Forgiveness by remembering Him-SWT morning and evening, that is, round the clock.

 

Constant Zikr

The Commentators interpret the term 'morning and evening' as practicing Zikr round the clock. This is because Zikr generates a state of constant presence before Allah-SWT , and a feeling of always being in His-SWT Company, which indeed is the solution to all problems and the answer to all difficulties.

 

Arrogance and Egotism impede obedience

People who oppose Allah-SWT ’s Word, neither have any evidence nor can they ever have an excuse. In fact such behaviour stems out of arrogance and egotism. They presume that conformity to the Holy Prophet-SW ‘s ways would adversely affect their stature and importance. By denial they seek to uphold their vainglory and whims, which they will never be able to do. So let them exert in their cause while the Holy Prophet-SW may continue to seek Allah-SWT's Protection, Who-SWT Sees and Hears everything.

 

Allah-SWT's Protection

A believer possesses a very powerful weapon in the form of, Allah-SWT's Protection in answer to the propaganda and conspiracies of the infidels. He should seek it both by word of mouth as well as practically through obedience and conformity to the Sunnah. These infidels fail to realize that He-SWT Who-SWT created the heavens and the earth as well as the entire universal system can have no difficulty in quickening the dead. The problem is that these ignorant souls do not possess the light of faith. The blind cannot obviously be at par with the one blessed with sight as well as the light of faith together with the capacity to obey Allah-SWT . They cannot stand up   against such a believer. The Qayamah will be established without doubt and their denial will not affect it in any way.

 

Prayer and its Acceptance

Allah-SWT enjoins that all prayers be addressed to Him-SWT whereas acceptance is subject to conformity with Sunnah of the Holy Prophet-SW . According to the erudites, a believer's prayer is never wasted. Firstly he may get what he has asked for immediately or with a slight delay. Secondly if what he has asked for is not in his favour, it is replaced with something better. Lastly, his unanswered prayer is added to his credit and will benefit him immensely on the Day of Reckoning. It is an honour for the supplicant to converse with Allah-SWT and those who disobey Him-SWT out of arrogance will be admitted into Hell, duly disgraced.
